Our Energy Policy

At KMK Pack, we share the international community's concern about climate change and believe that industry should play an important role in global efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Accordingly, our goal is to continuously improve our energy and carbon efficiency by working with external stakeholders within our own operations.

To achieve our goals, we are committed to:

Meeting the requirements of local and national laws and regulations, as well as all relevant international agreements related to energy management,

Acting in accordance with internationally recognized principles and standards, including but not limited to the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals and the ten principles of the UN Global Compact,

Improving the energy and carbon efficiency of our production processes by improving our energy management systems,

Conducting studies to procure energy-efficient products and services that impact our energy performance,

Conducting studies to prioritize designs that provide energy savings in our operations and implementing projects to improve energy efficiency,

Seeking to optimize the already considerable use of cogeneration energy production (combined heat and power generation),

Developing and implementing investment plans for self-sufficiency in electricity at our paper and packaging mill
08
Ensuring that EU Best Available Techniques (BAT) are applied to all new energy investments in our paper and packaging mill
